Crab Leg Blowing Unit

Overview

A machined 600 mm diameter drum complete with indents would accept manually loaded crab legs and transport the legs through a hold down section which secures the legs in place whilst passing the same past a rotating saw blade that would cut the legs just below the knuckle joints.

Once cut, the sawn sections would fall away leaving the remaining leg section held on the drum. From the cutting section the legs would continue around the drum and pass in front of the blowing nozzles at which point the meats would be ejected from the legs by the filtered high pressure air. The ejected meats would collect in a removable collection bin with the empty blown legs being discharged separately.

Complete with variable speed drives the assembly would be manufactured from food grade plastic and both 316 & 304 grade stainless steels and finished in a dull polish.
